Backing Plate: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Wheel cylinder.

Removing Parking Brake Cable From Backing Plate:

2. Parking brake cable from backing plate by squeezing parking brake cable stopper ring.
3. Axle shaft. Refer to Transmission and Drivetrain.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Axle shaft. Refer to Transmission and Drivetrain.
2. Parking brake to backing plate.
3. Wheel cylinder.
