Troubleshooting Hints

1. Check the IG-COIL METER Fuse.
2. Check that the Parking Brake is fully released.
3. Check that the brake fluid reservoir is adequately filled.
4. Check that the brake hoses and pipes are securely fastened and not leaking. Refer to Brakes for Brake Hose and Pipe Inspection. Brakes and Traction Control
5. Check for an open or shorted filament within the "BRAKE" Indicator.
6. Check that grounds G101, G102, G105, G200, and G202 are clean and tight.
7. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections.
