Brake Pedal Assy: Adjustments

BRAKE PEDAL TRAVEL
1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK.
2. Press brake pedal several times to deplete booster vacuum reserve.
3. Hold brake pedal with approximately 30 kg (66 lbs.) of pressure.
4. Measure brake pedal-to-floor clearance. If the clearance is less than 80 mm (3.15 inch), perform the following:
^ Inspect rear brake shoes and adjusters.
^ Check brake booster pushrod length.
^ Bleed brake system. Service and Repair
