Component Breakdown

ABS VI consists of a conventional hydraulic brake system plus antilock components. The conventional brake system includes a vacuum power booster, master cylinder, front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, interconnecting hydraulic brake lines, low fluid sensor, and a red BRAKE warning lamp.

The ABS components include an hydraulic modulator/motor pack assembly, an Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM), a system enable relay, three wheel speed sensors, a proportioning valve featuring a shuttle switch, interconnecting wiring, a lamp driver relay, the ABS indicator and the ABS ACTIVE indicator.
