Fig. 5 Vane installation:

1. Remove pump pulley, pressure switch and suction pipe connector, Fig. 2.
2. Disconnect pressure connector and remove flow control valve.
3. Remove cam ring and snap ring. Refer to Fig. 3.
4. Remove rotor and vanes, Figs. 4 and 5, then remove pump shaft and oil seal.
5. Inspect all components for cracks and leaks and lubricate with power steering fluid.
6. Reverse procedure to assemble, tighten bolts/nuts to specifications.
