Water Outlet Tube Replacement (LU3)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement Service and Repair.
2. Remove the radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (Non-HP2) Radiator Inlet Hose ReplacementRadiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LGH, LML) Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement.
3. Remove the water outlet bolts.
4. Remove the water outlet.
5. Remove and discard the gasket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install a NEW gasket to the water outlet.
2. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine coolant.
3. Install the water outlet.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

4. Install the water outlet bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 21 Nm (15 lb ft).

5. Install the radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (Non-HP2) Radiator Inlet Hose ReplacementRadiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LGH, LML) Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement.
6. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement Service and Repair.
