Air Outlet Replacement - Center Floor

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel extension.
2. Remove the floor air outlet duct from the air distributor.
3. Remove the bucket seats.
4. Remove the front section of the carpet if equipped.




5. Remove the nuts that retain the outlet duct to the floor (if equipped).
6. Remove the floor air outlet from the ducts to the rear seat (if equipped).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the floor air outlet to the ducts to the rear seat (if equipped).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




2. Install the nuts that retain the outlet duct to the floor (if equipped).

Tighten
Tighten the nuts that retain the outlet duct to the floor (if equipped) to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the front section of the carpet (if equipped).
4. Install the bucket seats.
5. Remove the floor air outlet duct from the air distributor.
6. Install the instrument panel extension.
