Removal and Installation

CAUTION: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the power steering components can result.

1. Using a suitable suction device, remove the power steering fluid from the reservoir.
2. Release the clamps and disconnect the hoses.
3. Remove the bolt and the fluid reservoir.
^ To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
5. Fill and check the system for leaks.
