Removal and Installation

1. WARNING: If equipped with fire suppression system, depower the system. For important safety warnings and procedures, refer to Fire Suppression System.

2. Remove the pushpins and the radiator cover shield.





3. Remove the battery and battery tray.
4. Remove the cooling module mounting bracket bolts.
^ To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Slide mounting brackets OFF the cooling module.

5. CAUTION: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the power steering components can result.

Release the clamps and disconnect the power steering inlet and outlet hoses from the oil cooler.
^ Clamp off hoses to prevent excess fluid loss.





6. Remove the 2 upper pushpins on both sides of the radiator side shields.
7. Remove the power steering cooler-to-radiator module pushpin.
8. Position the radiator rearward.
^ Slide the cooler up and out from the clips and remove cooler from radiator module.





9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
10. Fill and check the system for leaks.
