Removal and Installation

NOTICE: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign material, or failure of the power steering components may result.

NOTICE: Do not allow power steering fluid to contact the accessory drive belt or damage to the belt may occur.

1. Using a suitable suction device, remove the power steering fluid from the reservoir.

2. Pulling upwards, detach the power steering fluid reservoir mounting grommets from the body brackets.

3. Release the clamp and disconnect the return hose from the power steering fluid reservoir.

4. Release the clamp, disconnect the power steering pump supply hose from the power steering fluid reservoir and remove the power steering fluid reservoir.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

6. Fill the power steering system.
