Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature (EGRT) Sensor
Removal and Installation
1. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe.
2. Detach and disconnect the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature (EGRT) sensor electrical connector.
3. NOTE: If necessary, lubricate the sensor threads with penetrating and lock lubricant to assist in removal.
Remove the EGRT (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature) sensor.
- To install, tighten to 44 Nm (32 lb-ft).
4. NOTE: Apply a light coat of anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the EGRT (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature) sensor.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
