Removal and Installation

1. Remove the engine Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe.

2. Remove the bolt for the intake manifold vacuum tube.
- Detach the intake manifold vacuum tube pin-type retainer from the Throttle Body (TB).

- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).






3. Disconnect the electronic throttle control electrical connector.
- Detach the electronic throttle control electrical connector wiring harness pin-type retainer.


4. Remove the 4 bolts and the TB (Throttle Body).
- Discard the TB (Throttle Body) gasket.

- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).


5. NOTE: Install a new TB (Throttle Body) gasket.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
