Exhaust Manifold

Install the new exhaust manifold stud(s) as needed.
Tighten to 13 Nm (115 lb-in).





Using a new gasket, install the LH exhaust manifold, 8 spacers and 8 new nuts. Tighten the nuts in 3 stages, in the sequence shown.
Stage 1: Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).
Stage 2: Tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
Stage 3: Tighten a second time, to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).





Install the LH exhaust manifold heat shield and 4 bolts.
Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in)




Install the new exhaust manifold stud(s) as needed.
Tighten to 13 Nm (115 lb-in).





Using a new gasket, install the RH exhaust manifold, 8 spacers and 8 new nuts. Tighten the nuts in 3 stages, in the sequence shown.
Stage 1: Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).
Stage 2: Tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
Stage 3: Tighten a second time, to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).





Install the RH exhaust manifold heat shield and 5 bolts.
Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
