Transfer Case Rear Output Shaft Seal













Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.

2. Remove the rear driveshaft. For additional information, refer to Driveshaft Removal and Replacement.

3. Using a suitable seal puller, remove the rear output shaft seal.





Installation

1. Using the Input Shaft Oil Seal Installer, install the rear output shaft seal.





2. Install the rear driveshaft. For additional information, refer to Driveshaft Removal and Replacement.
