Steering Column Motor - Tilt









Removal and Installation

1. Remove the steering column shrouds. For additional information, refer to Steering Column Shroud Steering Column Shroud.

2. Remove the 2 screws, detach the in-vehicle temperature sensor and hose assembly (if equipped) and remove the steering column opening trim panel.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).


3. Disconnect the steering column tilt motor electrical connector.

4. Remove the 2 steering column tilt motor screws and the steering column tilt motor.
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).


5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
