TREMOR RADIO SYSTEM

FORD:
2002 RANGER

ISSUE
Some vehicles equipped with the Pioneer Tremor radio system, may exhibit a low level whine, buzz or static noise in the speakers, when using the radio or CD. The noise changes with engine RPM and various electrical loads. This may be caused by the speaker wire routing or the radio power/ground system.

ACTION
To correct the noise, the power/ground and speaker wiring must be rerouted. To accomplish this, some of the wiring in the vehicle harness will be disabled and two overlay harnesses will be installed. Obtain Service repair kit 2L5Z-19B113-AA and follow instructions in kit to repair.
