Throttle Body: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Remove the accelerator control snow shield.







2. Disconnect the wiring harness and engine vent tube from the air cleaner outlet tube.







3. Loosen the clamps and remove the engine air cleaner intake tube and duct.







4. Remove the accelerator cable and the speed control cable (if equipped).







5. Disconnect the Throttle Position (TP) sensor electrical connector.







6. Remove the bolts and the throttle body.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Tighten the throttle body bolts in the sequence shown to 10 Nm (89 Lb-In).
