C-Pillar Trim Panel

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Fold down the rear seat backrest.







3. Position the back panel trim cover aside.
1 Remove the pin-type retainers.
2 Position the cover aside.







4. Remove the rear door scuff plate.







5. From behind the front shoulder safety belt guide cover, release the retaining tab and open the cover.

NOTE:
^ Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide cover for damage. If the shoulder safety belt guide cover is damaged or if it does not remain closed, install a new shoulder safety belt guide cover.
^ Shoulder safety belt guide cover shown removed for clarity.







6. Remove the nut and shoulder safety belt guide.
7. Position aside the rear door weatherstrip.







8. Remove the upper C-pillar trim panel.







9. Remove the lower C-pillar trim panel.
1 Remove the pin-type retainer.
2 Remove the C-pillar trim panel.
^ On the passenger side, disconnect the powerpoint electrical connector.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
