Cable

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.







2. Remove the accelerator cable from the dash panel.
1 From inside the vehicle, compress the retaining tabs on the cable and push the cable into the engine compartment until the retaining tabs are disconnected from the dash panel.
2 Pull the accelerator cable through the dash panel.
3. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.







4. Remove the push pin, and pull the splash shield forward off of the throttle body locating stud.







5. Remove the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.
^ Rotate the throttle lever and unclip the accelerator cable.







6. Depress the retaining tabs on the accelerator cable and remove the accelerator cable from the upper intake manifold. Remove the accelerator cable from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
