Valve Cover RH

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.





3. Disconnect the Differential Pressure Feedback EGR (DPFE) transducer connector.
4. Remove the ignition coil.





5. Disconnect the radio capacitor and position wire out of the way.
6. Remove the engine cover.





7. Remove the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve/heater water hose assembly and position out of the way.





8. Disconnect the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose at the intake.





9. Remove the engine lifting eye.





10. Disconnect the spark plug separators from the valve covers and position spark plug wires out of the way.





11. Remove the valve cover and discard the gasket.
12. Clean the cover mating surface.

Installation





1. Install the valve cover and new gasket.





2. Position the spark plug wires and connect the separators.





3. Install the engine lifting eye.





4. Install the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve heater water hose assembly.





5. Connect the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose at the intake.





6. Position and connect the radio capacitor.
7. Install the ignition coil.





8. Connect the DPFE transducer electrical connector.
9. Install the air cleaner assembly.
10. Connect the battery.
11. Install the engine cover.
