Initial Inspection - External Controls

Special Tools:

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the transmission external control.
2. Verify the stoplamps for correct operation by depressing the brake pedal.

Visual Inspection Chart:

3. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.
4. If the fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the Symptom Chart.
