Inspection and Verification

When fluid leakage is found in the integral fluid cooler, install a new or remanufactured radiator.

When internal wear or damage has occurred in the transaxle, metal particles, clutch plate material or band material may have been carried into the torque converter and oil to air (OTA) fluid cooler. These contaminants are a major cause of recurring transaxle concerns and must be removed from the system before the transaxle is put back into service. The OTA fluid cooler cannot be serviced, a new OTA fluid cooler must be installed.

When fluid leakage is found in the OTA fluid cooler. install a new the OTA fluid cooler.
