Attachment II - Labor and Parts Information
LABOR ALLOWANCES
PARTS REQUIREMENTS
Parts will be direct shipped to dealers by stock order for this recall. Dealers should receive their individual seed stock allocation by March 30. Each dealer will receive between 1-20 kits based on the size of the dealership. Do not order parts until you have received your seed stock and are in need of additional kits. Parts will not be stocked in the PDCs as they are direct shipped from the supplier.
Ordering procedure noted:
Emergency Orders will be restricted except for the most severe cases. To order emergency parts, call the Special Support Center. You will be required to give the VIN number of the vehicle involved.
Note:
Because this program will involve a seed stock allocation for each dealer involved, you will not be able to place orders for parts until after April 1. The seed stock process will take place from launch through March 30, 2002. During this time period, dealers can call the support center if there is an urgent need for parts.
