Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.





2. Remove the instrument close-out panel bolts and remove the panel.





3. Remove the stoplight switch retaining pin.





4. Slide the stoplight switch and booster push rod and the bushing from the brake pedal pin.





5. Remove the accelerator pedal pin and position pedal aside.





6. Remove the brake pedal bracket upper sky bolts.





7. Remove the brake booster nuts.
8. Remove the brake pedal and bracket.

Installation








1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
