Console: Description and Operation

Console - Floor
The Floor Console is available in two different options. The base console consists of the following components:
^ Console bin cover
^ Cup holders

The Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) system console consists of the following:
^ Console bin cover
^ Cup holders
^ Video CASSETTE PLAYER (VCP)
^ LCD screen
^ RSE module
^ Video game inputs
^ 12V Power Point

The only repairable components are:
^ Console bin cover
^ The in-console 5 amp fuse
^ RSE console assembly

If repairs are needed to the RSE module, LCD screen or VCP, remove the RSE console assembly and send it to an authorized Ford audio system repair facility. For Diagnostics and Testing, refer to Radio,Stereo,and Compact Disc.

Console-overhead
The overhead console consists of the following components:
^ passenger compartment rearview mirror
^ coin holder
^ sunglass storage compartment
^ garage door opener storage compartment
^ overhead lamp
^ maplamps
^ Rear Audio Control Panel (RACP)
^ power sliding door control switches (optional)
