Trunk / Liftgate: Service and Repair

1. Support the liftgate door in an open position.

NOTE: An assistant is required to carry out this procedure.







2. Remove the hydraulic liftgate cylinder.







3. Lower the headliner.
1 Remove the pin-type retainers.
2 Remove the light.
3 Lower the headliner.







4. Remove the grommet.







5. Remove the grommet.







6. Remove the liftgate door.
^ Remove the bolts.
^ Disconnect the electrical connectors.
^ Disconnect the hose.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: An assistant is required to carry out this procedure.
