Radio Removal Tool:
SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL(S)
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Insert the special tool.
CAUTION: Do not use excessive force when inserting the radio removal tool because it will cause damage to the audio unit or the retaining clips making removal difficult.
3. Remove the audio unit.
^ Disconnect the electrical connectors and the antenna lead-in cable.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
