Heater Hose: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Drain the radiator. For additional information, refer to Cooling System.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. For additional information, Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.







3. Remove the heater hose from between the heater core and the water diverter valve.







4. Remove the heater hose from between the water diverter valve and the Water pump.







5. Remove the heater hose from between the water diverter valve and the water outlet.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Lubricate the hoses and fittings with Rubber Suspension Insulator Lube E25Y-19553-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESF-M99B112-A.
