Seat Track: Service and Repair

DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove the front seat tracks; refer to Seat-Front Bucket, 40 Percent Seat or Seat-Front, 60 Percent Portion of 60/40 Split Bench.







2. If equipped, remove the seat track return spring.







3. Remove the front seat back recliners.
1 Remove the two nuts.
2 Remove the front seat back recliners.







4. Remove the seat track release bar.
1 Remove the two speed nuts.
2 Remove the seat track release bar.







5. Disconnect the inboard end of the seat back recliner link cable.
1 Unhook the cable conduit.
2 Disconnect the inboard end of the seat back recliner link cable.







6. Disconnect the outboard end of the seat back recliner link able.
1 Unhook the cable conduit.
2 Disconnect the outboard end of the seat back recliner link cable.







7. Remove the seat back recliner link cable.
1 Release the clip.
2 Remove the seat back recliner link cable.

ASSEMBLY







1. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
