Removal and Installation

Spark Plug Wire Remover:

SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL(S)

REMOVAL

NOTE: Refer to the illustration in Removal Step 4 to determine the condition of the spark plugs.

1. Remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug; refer to Ignition Cable.







2. Loosen the spark plug.







3. Remove the spark plug.

WARNING: ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION WHEN USING COMPRESSED AIR.

NOTE: Use compressed air to remove any debris from the spark plug well before removing the spark plugs.







4. Inspect the spark plugs.







5. Check and adjust the spark plug gap as necessary.

INSTALLATION







1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
