Condenser Core - Motorhome Chassis

Removal

NOTE: If an A/C condenser core leak is suspected, the A/C condenser core must be leak-tested before it is removed from the vehicle.

1. Recover the refrigerant.






2. Remove the three screws and reposition the degas bottle.






3. Disconnect the A/C condenser core inlet and outlet lines.
4. Raise the vehicle.






5. Remove the bolts and reposition the power steering cooler.






6. Remove the bolts and remove the RH and LH lower A/C condenser core mounting brackets.






7. Lower and remove the A/C condenser core.

Installation


















1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
- Service the replacement A/C condenser with the proper amount of PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
- Lubricate the 0-ring seal with PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
