EGR Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the EGR valve vacuum connection.







2. Disconnect the lower EGR tube upper fitting.







3. Remove the EGR valve bolts and the EGR valve.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Carefully clean all sealing surfaces and install a new EGR valve gasket.

NOTE: The EGR valve scaling surfaces are soft metals.
