Cable

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.







2. Remove the left hand side accelerator control splash shield bolts.







3. Remove the right hand side splash shield bolt and remove the splash shield.







4. Remove the accelerator cable clip.







5. Squeeze the accelerator cable lock tabs on the inside of the passenger compartment and push the accelerator cable into the engine compartment.







6. Depress the locking tabs and remove the accelerator cable from the accelerator cable bracket.







7. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.
1 Rotate the throttle lever forward.
2 Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.

INSTALLATION












1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
