High Pressure Safety Valve HVAC: Service and Repair

PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE - 5.4L AND 6.8L

REMOVAL
1. Perform the Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure.







2. Remove the pressure relief valve.

INSTALLATION







1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
^ Lubricate the O-ring seal with PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) F7AZ- 19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
