Transmission Mount: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.





2. Remove the (A) nuts and (B) bolt, and position the (C) hanger aside.





3. Position, then raise High Lift Transmission Jack until the (A) retainer studs are separated from the (B) transmission support crossmember.





4. Remove the (A) bolt and the (B) retainer.

Installation





1. Install the (A) retainer and the (B) bolt hand-tight.





2. Lower the High Lift Transmission Jack while aligning the (A) retainer studs with the holes in the (B) . Allow the full weight of the transmission to rest on the .
3. Remove the High Lift Transmission Jack.





4. Position the (A) hanger and install the (B) bolt.
- Tighten the retainer-to-extension housing bolts.





5. Install the nuts.
6. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
