Liftgate Wiper

OPERATION
The Liftgate Wiper/Washer System is powered through an in-line 4.5A Circuit Breaker, which is hot with the Ignition Switch in the "ACCY" or "Run" position.

The Liftgate Wiper - is activated when the Liftgate Wiper Switch is placed in the "ON" position. Current flows from the 4.5A Circuit Breaker through the closed Liftgate Wiper switch and the Wiper Disable Switch to the Wiper Motor.

Once the Liftgate Wiper is turned "ON", the wiper moves from its grounded "PARK" position to the "RUN" position. While the wiper is in the "RUN" position, it is receiving power until the wiper returns to the "PARK" position. At that time the wiper will either receive power from the closed Liftgate Wiper/Washer Switch or remain parked.

The liftgate Washer - is activated when the Liftgate Washer Switch is turned "ON", which also turns on the Liftgate Wipers.

Current flows from the 4.5A Circuit Breaker through the Liftgate Wiper/Washer Switch to the Washer Pump and the Wiper Motor.

The Washer Switch will automatically shut "OFF" when washing has been completed, but the Wiper Switch must be shut off manually.
