Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

The kickdown cable is self-adjusting and automatically adjusts to a tolerance range of 1 inch during normal operation. However, if the cable requires readjustment, depress the semi-circular metal tab on the self-adjuster, while pulling the cable toward the front of vehicle. The cable will now automatically adjust to proper length during kickdown operation.
