BODY - RUST PERFORATION - QUARTER PANEL - SERVICE TIPS

This TSB article is being republished in its entirety to correct the labor allowances.

ISSUE:
Rust perforation may occur in the quarter panel in the front lower area on some vehicles. This may be caused by the following conditions:

^ 4-Door Models - no E-Coat on inside of rocker panel surface

^ 2-Door Models - sand abrasion thrown up from the front tires

ACTION:
Weld on quarter panel covers and blend to body with body filler. The new service panels will cover and/or replace the damaged portion of the quarter panel. Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.
