Heating System

OPERATION
The Heater System is powered by a 15A fuse 5 of the Interior Fuse Panel which is hot with the Ignition Switch in the "RUN" position and by 50A Maxi-fuse 5 of the Power Distribution Box, which is hot at all times.

Blower
With the Ignition Switch in the "RUN" position current flows to energize the coil at the Blower Motor Relay. The Blower Motor Relay's contacts will close and allow current to flow from the 50A fuse 5 of the Power Distribution Box to the Blower Motor.

The speed of the Blower Motor is controlled by the Blower Motor Control Switch and the Blower Motor Resistor.

When the Blower Motor Control Switch is in the "HI" position, the Blower Motor is grounded for full speed operation.

In any other "ON" position (1, 2 or 3), current flows through the Blower Motor Resistor, which controls the amount of current that flows through the Blower Motor by directing the current through one, two, or three of the resistors.
