Power Seats
OPERATIONVoltage is applied to the Seat Control Switch at all times through the 60A Maxi-Fuse 8 of the Power Distribution Box. Each Seat Control Switch consists of 8 switches:
- Switches 1 and 2 control the front of the seat (UP/DN).
- Switches 3 and 4 control the entire seat (UP/DN).
- Switches 5 and 6 control the entire seat (FORWARD/REARWARD).
- Switches 7 and 8 control the rear of the seat (UP/DN).
Each Seat Motor Assembly contains 3 bi-directional motors (Front Height Motor, FWD/RWD Motor, and Rear Height Motor) that drive the seat up, down, forward, or rearward based on the position of the Seat Control Switches.
The Seat Control Switch controls the direction of current flow to operate the bi-directional motor in a clockwise or counter clockwise direction, which moves the seat to the desired position.
