ENGINE - NEW DESIGN ENGINE BLOCK FOR
SERVICE - 7.0L AND 7.5L ENGINES

LIGHT TRUCK:
1990-96 ECONOLINE, F SUPER DUTY, F-250, F-350

MEDIUM/HEAVY TRUCK:
1990-98 F-600, F-700, F-800

ISSUE
A new design engine block for 7.0L and 7.5L engines has been released for service. There is now one (1) common block for both applications.








ACTION
If replacement of the engine block on the 7.0L or 7.5L engine is necessary, replace the block with the new design Engine Block (F6TZ-6010-GA). The oil pump pickup screen stud must be in the proper location. Refer to Figures 1 and 2 for the correct location differences between 7.5L Econoline/F-Series and 7.0L Medium Duty vehicles. The removal and installation procedures will remain the same.

NOTE
THE MAIN BEARING STUD BOLTS WILL NEED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE OLD BLOCK AND INSTALLED IN THE NEW BLOCK.
