Horn: Service and Repair

All Aerostar horn assemblies are mounted in the engine compartment. The standard low pitch horn is mounted on the right fender apron. The optional high pitch horn is mounted on the right fender apron below the standard horn.

Disconnect the horn wire from the terminal and remove the mounting screw. Repeat for second horn, if equipped. When installing a horn and bracket assembly, tighten the mounting screw 11-16 N-m (8-11 ft-lb).
