Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. On models with airbags, disable airbag system.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.

3. Disconnect electrical connector from switch.
4. Remove hairpin retainer, slide switch and pushrod.
5. Position spacers and bushing away from brake pedal and remove switch from vehicle.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Rearm airbag system.
