Removal and Installation
1. Remove approximately 2/3 of brake fluid from reservoir.2. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove caliper locating pins using a Torx T40 bit, then lift caliper off rotor. Use a piece of wire to support caliper away from strut.
4. Use a screwdriver to remove outboard pad from caliper, then remove inboard pad.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Press piston back into caliper.
b. Lubricate caliper locating pins with silicone dielectric compound.
c. Tighten locating pins and wheel lug nuts to specifications.
d. Refill brake fluid reservoir.
