Dual Plug Inhibit System

DPI is a function of the EEC IV used when the vehicle is started. During engine cranking, the ignition module will only fire spark plugs on the righthand side of the engine. When the engine has started, the EEC IV sends a signal to the DIS module, initiating normal plug operation.
