As you were advised in the above-referenced bulletin, Ford Motor Company has determined that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 1984 Bronco II and Ranger 4x4 vehicles. The purposes of this bulletin are to: 1) provide supplementary information to that provided in the referenced bulletin, 2) restate the technical and administrative instructions, and 3) provide you with a computer-generated listing of involved vehicles and preprinted Forms 1864 for the recall service.
