Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Solenoid Valve 2 Circuit Malfunction

BACKGROUND
- The engine control module checks whether current flows in the evaporative emission purge solenoid 2 drive circuit when the solenoid is driven.

RANGE OF CHECK and SET CONDITIONS
- Even though the evaporative emission purge solenoid 2 has switched from OFF to ON, current does not flow to the coil for 4 seconds.

EFFECT
No limp-in

PROBABLE CAUSES
- Evaporative emission purge solenoid 2 failed.
- Open or shorted evaporative emission purge solenoid circuit, or loose connector.
- Engine control module failed.
