SCAN TOOL INSPECTION



SOLENOID INSPECTION
1. Disconnect and mark the black and red-striped vacuum hoses from the solenoids so they can be reconnected at the original positions.
2. Disconnect the harness connector.

3. Connect a hand vacuum pump to nipple A of the solenoid valve (as indicated in illustration).
4. Check airtightness when voltage is supplied and not supplied as indicated.





5. Using an ohm meter, check the resistance between the terminals.

Resistance: 36 - 44 ohms @ 20° C (68° F)
