Throttle Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

1. Check that there are no sharp bends in the throttle cable.
2. Let the throttle cable touch the Speed Adjusting Screw (SAS).
3. Check the inner cable play.

STANDARD VALUE
Manual trans 0.04 - 0.08 in. (1 - 2 mm)
Automatic trans 0.12 - 0.20 in. (3 - 5 mm)

4. If the play is not within the standard value, turn the adjusting nut so that the inner cable play is brought to the standard value, and then tighten the nut.
