Low Fuel Lamp/Indicator: Description and Operation

When the fuel level goes down causing the level sensor to be exposed, with the ignition switch in the ON position, the resistance of level sensor becomes small. When this resistance goes down below the predetermined level, the fuel warning light lights up to warn the driver that the amount of fuel still available for use is small.

- When the gauge indicator shows approximately 1/8 tank of fuel remaining, the LED will light, alerting the driver to a low fuel condition.

- When the gauge indicator shows engine temperature to be 240-260°F, the LED will light, alerting the driver to an overheating condition.
